      Two weeks ago, I attended an orientation of Okayama Inovation School 2023. OIC is a curriculum aiming to give some knowledge to be a enterpreneur and establish a mental state to be it. Actually, I am a little boring in my university life because I have nothing in which I absorb in. Therefore, I thought I wanted to begin something new for me and participated in the orientation. I thought a lot of Okayama University students would come to it because I found the school by an email from university. However, when I arrived at the meeting place, I noticed thet only I was an university student and almost all participants were bussiness person. They wore their suits that looked expensive. Then I was so much nervous. At the end of the meeting, however, I found there was a man wearing the school uniform. He was a high school student. I spoke to me and exchange our contact adress.       Everyone reading my blog, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Today, I'd like to talk about my new years resolutions. I have mainly two resolutions for 2023.     First, I want to be careful not to waste money. Since I began part time job, I feel I started buying something that is not really needed for me such as snacks, drink in a plastic bottle, and such. I think being affodable because of income brought me such bad habit. Although each items are not expensive, if I buy them every day, the total amount of money I use will be enormous. This year I will bring my water bottle to university not to use the vending machimes.      Secound, I want to keep using English in dairy life. Actually, I'd like to study abroad next year, and I want to get the license of an English teacher, so I have to improve my English skils.       The last weekend was the special days for us. Last Sunday was the christmas day! I guess you enjoyed that day in various ways: having a party with your friends or family, spending that day with your boy/girlfriend, seeing the illumination, and such. In addition, we listened to some Xmas songs in a lot of places. Do you have any favorite songs related to it? Today, I'd like to recommend the most favorite Xmas song to you. It is "Angel." The song is sung by Libera, which is a  choir in London, and it was the theme song of the show of Universal Stadio Japan in the Xmas season. When I was an elementary school student, I watched it and I was so moved. Then, the song became the best Xmas song for me. The melody is so comfortable and the voice is really really beautiful. I extremely want you to listen to it! I hope that you'll love it.  

    Today, I'll introduce you my hobby. I thin generally many people have hobbies such as listening to music, playing the guitar, reading books, and such. However, I think my hobby is sightly unique.  I like visiting ancient tombs. Ancient tomb is a grave in 3rd-6th century in Japan. In Japanese, we call it " kofun ."  In high school, I had studied Japanese history, and I became interested in   kofun . I think it is dreamlike place because we can feel humans' life about 1500 years ago. In Okayama, there are a lot of ancient bombs, so I sometimes visit them by bicycle. Okayama has the fourth leargest ancient bomb in Japan. It is " Tsukuriyama Kofun. " If you have time, please go there once!

  I am really looking forward to February coming. Why? I am going to go to Malaysia for about 3 weeks to study English. It will be my first trip abroad. I am a little nervous because I am not confident in speaking English much. But further I feel excited to my new experience. Last weekend, I visited city office to get passport. Firstly I took ID photo at a grocery store. It cost 900 yen. After that I brought it to city office. However, I was shocked because it was not received by the officer. I asked her the reason, then she said it had a scratch, so it might be forgiven. That's how I was to take ID photo again. The price of 900 yen is not reasonable for me, so please be careful if you need to take ID photoes!

 Last week, we had examinations in term 3. Could you do your best? I guess you made hard efforts to do well. Actually, I regret this exam because I lacked preparing. In the week of examination, I had a presentation in a class, so I was making hard efforts for that and it took me a vast amount of time. I spent the entire of Saturday and Sunday making it. In term 1 and 2, I had few exam, but I mainly had reports, so I was not accustomed to exam in university. That's why I couldn't prepare for the exam much. To be honest, I am not confident in the result of exams in the last term. In term 4, I will do my best not to make the same mistake.
